# Quizzes that check you

Reading it again is not knowing it. Say quiz me on adding fractions, or on the page you are reading, and DuckyHelper writes a short quiz on exactly that while you watch. Tap a choice, type the math, answer true or false. Each answer is checked right away, and a miss comes with why. The ones you miss come back later, right before you would forget them.

Answer any way

## Tap it, type it, or press a number.

In the Mac pill, tap a choice or press 1 to 4. For math, type it the way you would write it: the quiz shows what it reads your answer as, 2/3 as a fraction, before you press Check or return. True or false comes with figures in the question when a picture helps.

Questions about what is in front of you

Quiz me on this page works too: on a Mac, Ducky can see the page you are on and quiz you on it.

Your score at the end

See results shows what you got right and goes over the ones you missed.

Miss one?

## Not quite, and why.

A wrong answer is not just marked red. It says not quite and what went wrong: only the tops add, the bottoms must match first. At the end you see your score, and the ones you missed are saved as flashcards that come back later.

In Eddy

## A quick check beside the picture.

In the Eddy tab, Eddy's quizzes dock as a Quick check beside the picture you are learning from. Eddy's pointer shows the part each question asks about and marks your answer on the picture, so the question and the thing it is about stay together.

## Say quiz me. Answer.

2. 2. Watch it written The questions stream in as Ducky writes them.
3. 3. Answer any way Tap, type, or press a number. Stuck? Ask for a hint.

## Quiz, don't re-read.

Pulling an answer out of your own memory makes it stick better than reading the page again. A quick quiz after a lesson is one of the simplest things you can do for a test, so DuckyHelper makes it one sentence away. ## How to use it

## Frequently asked questions

### Can an AI quiz me on what I'm studying?

Yes. Press fn on a Mac or talk to Eddy in the Eddy tab and say quiz me on the topic. DuckyHelper writes a short quiz on exactly that while you watch, checks each answer right away, and tells you why for each one you miss.

### Can it quiz me on my own notes or reading?

Yes. On a Mac, open your notes or the page you are reading, press fn and say quiz me on this. In Eddy, open your file or a reading and ask for a quick check on it.

### What happens when I get one wrong?

You see not quite and the reason, like only the tops add, the bottoms must match first. At the end you see your score. The questions you missed are saved as flashcards and come back later, right before you would forget them.

### Can it give me a hint instead of the answer?

Yes. Ask for a hint while a question is open. In the Mac pill, practice problems have a Hint button that opens a nudge, then a bigger hint, then a worked step, with the answer only last. [Hints first, not answers](https://duckyhelper.com/features/hints-not-answers/) explains why.

### Does it work for SAT practice?

Yes. Ask for SAT-style questions on a topic, or open a practice test page and ask to be quizzed on it. Typed math answers show how they are read before they are checked. [SAT prep with DuckyHelper](https://duckyhelper.com/for/sat-prep/) has more.

### Small sandboxes you run yourself: drag the ball, move a slider, read the numbers

### It asks back and gives the next hint before an answer, so you do the thinking

DuckyHelper asks back and gives the next hint before it gives an answer, so you do the thinking. Why that matters, and how it works on a Mac and in Eddy.

### Run your code against tests, then watch it step by step with every variable as it changes

DuckyHelper runs your code against tests and plays it back step by step, every variable as it changes, so you see why it gives the wrong answer.
