# SAT prep with a tutor that sees your practice test

DuckyHelper helps with SAT prep by looking at the practice question you already have open. Press fn and ask why an answer is wrong: Ducky circles the line in the passage that rules it out, works math steps with you, then quizzes you on the skills you missed and saves flashcards that come back before you forget them. It explains and checks; it does not take tests for you.

## What a session looks like

### Reading and Writing: "Why is B wrong?"

You have a practice question open in your browser or a PDF. You chose B and got it wrong. You press fn and say "why is B wrong?" Ducky looks at your screen, circles the sentence in the passage that B contradicts, underlines the words that support the right choice, and asks you which one now fits. If you still pick wrong, it gives a hint before it gives the answer.

### Math: a slip you can't see

You worked a linear equation on paper and your answer isn't one of the choices. Open the scratchpad in the pill and copy your lines, or just ask. Ducky checks each line with a computer algebra system instead of guessing, and lights up the **first** line that went wrong with a short note on what to look at. For a graph question, it draws the lines in an interactive graph so you can see where they meet.

### After the practice set

Ask "quiz me on what I missed." Ducky makes a short quiz aimed at the skills you got wrong, mixing multiple choice, typed math answers and true or false. It quietly notes the type of mistake you make (for example, dropping a negative sign) so it can watch for it next time, and it saves flashcards for the rules and formulas you mixed up.

## A real story, not a promise

DuckyHelper's founder, Yiming Beckmann, is 14 and, in his words, a grade school dropout. He studied with DuckyHelper and went from 1120 to 1600 on the SAT in two weeks, and scored 117 of 120 on the CLT. That is one person's result. Yours depends on where you start, how much you practice and the test itself.

## What it won't do

- It won't sit the test for you. Don't use DuckyHelper during the real SAT or any test unless you're allowed to.
- It isn't connected to the College Board and doesn't have its own official practice tests. Bring your own questions.
