Which one should you pick?

Pick DuckyHelper if

  • You study on a Mac or a Chromebook. Copilot Vision's full screen sharing is a Windows feature.
  • You want marks drawn on the problem one at a time as it explains.
  • You want tutorials in your own apps that wait until you did each step.
  • You want a dashboard with streaks, topics, mastery and test scores.

Pick Copilot if

  • You use a Windows PC and want help built into Windows.
  • You already pay for Microsoft 365 Personal, Family or Premium.
  • You want free voice chat: Microsoft says Copilot Voice use is not limited.
  • Your school gives you Microsoft 365 Copilot with its Study and Learn agent.

Copilot Vision is the closest feature

Copilot Vision works during a Copilot Voice call. On Windows you can share a screen or up to two apps, and Microsoft says Vision "might highlight portions of the screen to help you find relevant information, but it doesn't click, enter text, or scroll on your behalf." You need a Microsoft 365 Personal, Family or Premium plan to use it.

DuckyHelper's pointer draws a series of marks, such as circles, arrows, boxes and labels, like a pen, to explain while it talks. Its tutorials watch your clicks and typing and only move on when you really did the step.
