Flashcards from what you missed

You do not have to make them. Ask Eddy for flashcards and they appear right beside the picture you are learning from, and the questions you miss in a quiz are saved as cards on their own. Each card comes back right before you would forget it, and your Cards page shows what is due today and what is coming. Review in the Mac pill, or ask Eddy to go over them with you.

Made for you

Cards from your own lessons.

Say make flashcards in any lesson and Eddy docks a short deck beside the picture: flip a card, then mark Got it or Not yet. In the Mac pill, quizzes save the question you got wrong as a card by themselves, so the thing you missed today is the thing you see again.

Your Cards

What's due, and what's coming.

Cards in the sidebar is your whole deck: how many are due now, the next 14 days at a glance, your decks by topic with how well you know each, and every card, which you can search, edit, pause or delete.

Review

Rate it. It comes back on time.

On a Mac, Review opens in the pill: space flips a card, and you rate it Again, Hard, Good or Easy with keys 1 to 4, each showing when it will come back. In the Eddy tab, ask Eddy to go over your due cards with you.

In the Eddy tab, say review my due flashcards with me, and Eddy goes over them with you.

Review opens in the pill, over whatever you are doing, and closes when you are done.

Learn it. Miss it. See it again.

How a card finds its way back to you.

  1. 1. A lesson or a quiz

Ask for flashcards, or miss a quiz question.

  2. 2. It becomes a card

Saved to your deck, by topic.

  3. 3. It comes back

Right before you would forget it, on your Cards page.

  4. 4. You rate it

Each rating sets when you see it next.

Space it out.

We forget fast, and the same review spread out over days beats the same review all at once. That is the whole idea behind your deck: each card waits until right before you would forget it. The learning science behind it: Space it out.
